What You’ll Learn in Mark Fraser’s Fundamentals Masterclass
This free 12-lesson masterclass is Mark Fraser’s complete fundamentals trading framework, built across 7 years of trading and 5 years applying macro to live markets. Mark’s core principle: fundamentals give you the direction, technicals give you the entry and the risk. You’ll start with the two foundational data points every trader needs to understand (GDP and inflation), then move through monetary policy (the central bank’s toolkit of interest rates, open market operations, and reserve requirements), fiscal policy (expansionary versus contractionary), employment and growth data (NFP, PMI subsections, labor force), and leading versus lagging indicators (services PMI versus manufacturing PMI for most G10 economies).
Mark then teaches how to identify the market theme before anything else, filtering every data release through the question “is this what markets care about right now?” using his “one is a fluke, two is a maybe, three is a trend” rule to spot a shift in narrative. He introduces the three pillars of FX (rates, equities, and commodities) as the real drivers of every currency, shows how to switch your bias when fundamentals change with real EUR/USD and GBP/USD examples from 2023, and closes with a live EUR/USD trade building the full framework from theme to data to chart.

About the Instructor,
Mark Fraser
Mark Fraser is a fundamentals-first forex trader, educator, and co-founder of Beau Monde Outlooks. He trades forex with a swing and position approach, building his bias from the macro picture before he ever looks at a chart. With more than 7 years of trading and 5 years of applying macro to live markets, his edge is reading the forces beneath price: central bank policy, inflation and growth data, bond yields, and how banks and market makers actually operate.
Mark started trading in 2018, drawn in by the flashy side of trading he saw online, before COVID showed him how completely fundamentals drive price. During the 2022 Liz Truss mini-budget crisis he shorted GBP/USD from 1.34 toward 1.02, held it for roughly 2,000 pips and made about 10% on just 0.5% risk, following the fundamental reasoning the whole way down. His guiding principle: fundamentals give you the direction, technicals give you the entry and the risk.
