What You’ll Learn in Usman Ashraf’s Options Masterclass
This free masterclass is Usman Ashraf’s complete options trading framework for beginners with zero prior knowledge required. Usman starts with what options actually are using his coupon analogy (you buy the right, not the obligation, to purchase shares at a set price before expiration), then walks through calls, puts, strike prices, and expiration dates with real dollar examples on Apple and Tesla. From there he builds into the mechanics that separate profitable traders from everyone else: how to read an options chain, how to time entries around market hours and assignment risk, why liquidity (volume, open interest, bid-ask spreads) determines your strike selection, and how the four Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega) move your premiums for and against you every single day.
Usman then teaches implied volatility and why IV crush can wipe out a correct directional bet after earnings, why 0DTE (which grew from 5% of SPX volume in 2016 to over 50% by 2024) demands a completely different approach to sizing and strategy, and his position-sizing framework for small accounts. On a $3,000 account, he splits capital into 5-6 portions of $500-$700, caps max loss at 10% per trade (so $50 risk on a $500 position), and sizes by dollar value, not contract count, because one Apple contract at $1 premium is a completely different trade from one Tesla contract at $5 premium. The masterclass closes with a practical risk management framework, a live Tesla trade breakdown, and a step-by-step progression plan from paper trading to a funded account over 7-12 months.

About the Instructor,
Usman Ashraf
Usman Ashraf is a full-time options trader, educator, and the founder of Option Hub. He has 11 years in the markets and a seven-figure track record, has been trading since 2015, and day trades options on big names like the S&P 500 (SPX, his favorite), Nvidia, and Microsoft. His real strength is not a secret indicator. It is understanding how options actually work (implied volatility, the Greeks, strike selection, and timing) together with careful position sizing and discipline. He has taught more than 800 traders through in-person classes in New York, Miami, and Dubai.
Usman did not plan to become a trader. He was studying medicine in China when he came home one summer and saw his younger brother, Umar Ashraf, trading successfully, which pulled him in. He left med school, started trading in 2015, lost $60,000 in his first year, used credit cards to fund his account, and drove Uber in New York City to keep going. His turning point came from an Uber ride where a Wall Street trader told him to go study implied volatility. After about two years of losses he became consistent. He trades smaller after big wins because overconfidence is the real risk, and stops trading after two losing trades in a row.
