What You’ll Learn in Matteo Conti’s Automate Your Prop Firm Trading Masterclass
This free masterclass is Matteo Conti’s framework for passing prop firm challenges using the same systematic process he used across 7 years as a market maker at one of Europe’s biggest banks, trading €15 billion a year across 10 million clients. You’ll learn the institutional pipeline: idea → rules → code → backtest → validate → size → deploy, why coding was the main barrier between retail and institutional for decades (Goldman Sachs has 2/3 of its workforce in developers), and why ChatGPT going mainstream in 2023 collapsed that gap by giving you a full dev team at your fingertips.
Matteo then applies the process to one problem: maximizing your probability of passing a prop firm challenge. He walks through the NQ Drift VWAP Pullback Strategy as a worked example, maps all account rules into code, and runs 10,000 Monte Carlo simulations to find the optimal contract size, showing how his method hits 37.5% pass probability on a 50K account versus Topstep’s 12.4% average. The masterclass closes with the funded phase, where the objective shifts from maximizing pass rate to maximizing expected payouts, with the full math on the 50K account’s $13,000 maximum total payout across 6 payouts (1,500 / 1,500 / 2,000 / 2,500 / 2,500 / 3,000).

About the Instructor,
Matteo Conti
Matteo Conti is a hedge fund manager and former institutional market maker who spent 7 years on the equity desk of one of Europe’s biggest banks, trading around 15 billion euros a year and generating 8-figure yearly P&L. He made markets in single stocks, funds, and futures for a client base of around 10 million people across the Nordics, and his first eight months as a market maker ran straight into the COVID crash, which he describes as the moment the playing field flattened for everyone on the floor. Today he is building his own fund and teaching retail traders the exact process he followed on the desk.
Matteo’s message is simple: institutional traders don’t make money because they have better infrastructure or more capital. They make money because they follow a process. Idea, rules, code, backtest, validate, size, deploy. 90 to 95 percent of institutional ideas get rejected during validation, and only 5 to 10 percent ever trade live. On top of that, institutions run multiple uncorrelated strategies that compensate for each other across market conditions. With AI coding tools, quality market data, and good backtesting software, Matteo believes retail traders can now follow the same process from home, and the gap is shrinking at a pace he calls unprecedented.
