OVERVIEW

What You’ll Learn in Jay Awtani’s A Trader’s Framework for Consistency Masterclass

‍

Learn the framework Jay Awtani built after losing money every month for his first 11 months of trading. In February 2020 he stopped focusing on MACD crossovers and candle patterns and started focusing on volume and order flow, and from that month forward he has been green every year. The framework he teaches is called Market DNA, which combines levels of significance with order flow, Level 1 volume (volume by time, including the R Wall for relative volume) with Level 2 volume (volume by price). You will learn why the market takes the stairs up and the elevator down, why exhaustion volume matters more than a single doji, and how to stack the odds in your favor instead of gambling.

‍

The masterclass covers dynamic risk sizing from B-minus to A-plus-plus-plus setups (and why beginners should stay on constant risk until they have a playbook), the gap between journaling and playbook-building that most traders never close, the technical indicators that actually move the needle (ATR, R Wall, Camarilla pivots, moving averages), and how screen recording your sessions is the single fastest way to review order flow on weekends. It closes with two live trade breakdowns, one on Nvidia and one on Apple, where Jay walks through his real entries, exits, and reasoning at prior all-time-high levels using Camarilla pivots and the R Wall.

About the Instructor,

Jay Awtani

Jay Awtani is a stocks and options trader, the founder of JAW Trades, and the creator of the Market DNA framework. He started trading in February 2019 while working full-time, lost money for 11 straight months, and found consistency in January 2020 after shifting his entire approach to volume and order flow. By September of that same year he had grown his $3,000 account past $200,000. He left his full-time job in 2021 and moved to Dubai in 2022.

Over six-plus years he has crossed seven figures in P&L and built a reputation for teaching the pieces most educators skip: how to size dynamically by setup grade, how to build a playbook from a journal instead of just filling pages, and how to use screen recording to review order flow weekend after weekend. His Market DNA strategy combines levels of significance with order flow, which he teaches as the only honest way to stack the odds in your favor in a game where the casino usually wins.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Market DNA?

Market DNA is Jay Awtani’s framework for reading price action through two layers: levels of significance (prior highs, prior lows, Camarilla pivots) and order flow (buyers and sellers on the book map, Level 1 and Level 2 volume). It is the system he built after losing money for 11 straight months focusing on MACD and candlestick patterns.

‍

What is volume and order flow?

Volume is how much was traded, split into Level 1 (volume by time, including relative volume or R Wall) and Level 2 (volume by price). Order flow is the live interaction between buyers and sellers on the book map. Together they show you whether a move has conviction behind it or whether it is a fakeout.

‍

What are Camarilla pivots and the R Wall?

Camarilla pivots are intraday support and resistance levels Jay uses to frame setups like the R3-R4 launch pad zone or a squeeze above R6. The R Wall is relative volume, showing how a candle’s volume compares to the same time on prior days. Both come up repeatedly in the live Nvidia and Apple breakdowns.

‍

What is dynamic risk sizing?

Dynamic risk means sizing bigger on higher-grade setups (A-plus or A-plus-plus-plus) and smaller on lower-grade setups (B-minus or A-minus). It is the second step after constant risk. Jay teaches that beginners should stay on constant risk until they have a playbook, because without a playbook you have no objective way to know which setup deserves more size.

‍

What is stock trading?

Stock trading is the buying and selling of shares in publicly listed companies on exchanges like the NYSE and Nasdaq. When you buy a share, you own a tiny piece of that company, and the price moves based on earnings, growth, industry performance, and overall market conditions. Traders aim to profit by buying stocks that are gaining strength and shorting stocks that are losing strength, which is the exact approach Ariel teaches in this masterclass: trade the strongest stocks in the strongest industry groups, both long and short.

‍

What is the difference between a journal and a playbook?

A journal logs trades. A playbook is the filtered set of A-plus setups that make up roughly 80 percent of your profit, pulled from the journal. Jay teaches the bridge between the two, which is the step most traders never take.

‍

Why does Jay recommend screen recording?

Jay has recorded his trading screen every day for roughly six years. On weekends he goes back through the recordings and studies the order flow in slow motion, which is how he built his understanding of the book map when there were almost no good resources available in 2020.
